Small vintage oval pewter serving tray from an estate sale. Measures 9-1/2" x 5-7/8". Stamped PEWTER (inside a pitcher) on bottom. Also has the number 32581-12 stamped on bottom. Has surface scratches and slightly dented on bottom which is not terribly noticable. If cleaned up it would make a nice serving tray for small appetizers/dessert. Or great to add to a pewter collection. It's pretty heavy, weighs 11.7oz by itself.
The estate sale where I found this was that of an elderly antique dealer whose items we were told had been boxed away since the 70's. Everything was sold by boxful. Lots of neat finds (old pewter, blue glass, hand blown glass, knick knacks), so check back, I will be listing a variety of items as I sort through and as my time permits. This was my first estate sale (I’m hooked now) and I really don't know much about antiques (other than what I've enjoyed learning here on e-bay), so I will describe each item as best I can.
