This ORIGINAL cartoon (NOT A PHOTOSTAT OR REPRODUCTION) with mount is from an issue of a Magazine dated 1928 (the exact date can be seen on the rear) and pokes gentle fun at ANTIQUE DEALERS The Caption reads
Customer (to young man who has just come into his father's business): "YOU SAY THAT'S QUEEN ANNE. ARE YOU SURE ?"
Young man: "WELL, THEN, GEORGIAN."
Customer: "ARE YOU SURE IT'S GEORGIAN ?"
Young man: "OH, WELL, DASH IT, IT'S PRE-WAR ANYHOW."
The cartoon will fit a frame 8" by 10" and is a very attractive, historic and unusual item to give as a gift or hang on your wall.
