1896 Letter Stevens Sewing Machine Galena Kansas
Thsi letter was sent to a customer in Sherburne, NY, to inform him that his Stevens Sewing machine, Style No. 6, was being sent from the Chicago factory. The letter was sent from 'Profit Smasher Stevens, Sewing Machines from Factory to Family', located in Galena, Kansas. It is dated Dec. 28, 1896.
The sheet is 8 3/8" x 10'. It is watermarked SAGAMORE. The sheet was folded three times in order to fit a small envelope. There are two small stains on the front and 1/2" tear at the horizontal fold.
