This auction is for: ONE (1) = "CENTERFOLD" PAGE from the - 1862 - HARPER'S WEEKLY Magazine (Measurement is approximately 23" x 15-1'2" when opened)
This "ORIGINAL" Page was removed from a 145 Year Old issue of the HARPER'S WEEKLY MAGAZINE.
This Lithograph (Signed in left corner by the famous THOMAS NAST) is entitled: "THE WAR FOR THE UNION--SURPRISE OF REBELGUERRILLAS BY A SQUADRON OF UNITED STATES CAVALRY".
On the reverse side of the Centerfold page is:

CONDITION:
This over 145 year old PAGE from an "ORIGINAL" 1862 HARPER'S WEEKLY MAGAZINE is in great condition when one considers its age. The Page is intact and the ART and Map Illustrations are sharp in detail. There is only minor age, use, corner, and edge wear, soiling/stain, beiging, etc. PLEASE see photos to help you in your decision to bid on these historic items.
